Continuing its visioning Dream San Marcos Process, the city of San Marcos is hosting a series of open houses for each sector of the city. In addition, there is one city-wide open house for all citizens to attend.
This is the time to share your greenbelt vision!
Please attend both your sector meeting (find them here or call 512.393.8000) and the city-wide open house this Thursday, 1/26 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Embassy Suites. Your input will be used in planning the city's budget and for establishing long term goals.

Greenways for San Marcos
SMGA envisions a network of greenways and trails that connect the places where we live, work, learn and play.
Our greenbelt uses land that is often ignored and neglected and takes advantage of existing parks and sidewalks. It offers an inviting and easy way to move throughout our community as a pedestrian or cyclist experiencing our natural landscape and heritage along the way. It helps to protect creeks and rivers, our water supply,
and habitat for native plants and animals. It reduces the impact of severe flooding and offers many other health and safety benefits.
