Faiths Believe in the Conservation of Creation.
The
Alliance of Religions and Conservation, ARC,
works with 11 faiths world wide. These faiths and their
networks embrace 85% of the world's population: some
5 billion human beings. Drawing on their traditions,
faith communities are working in countless ways to care
for the environment. Each faith has its own distinctive
history and teachings, and its own unique relationship
with the natural world.
This section outlines the basics of each faith's history,
beliefs and teachings on ecology. At the end of each
faith section are links for further information. ARC

Evangelical Environmental Network & Creation Care
Magazine
Members of the Evangelical Environmental Network, as
followers of Jesus Christ are committed to the full
authority of the scriptures and believe that biblical
faith is essential to the solution of our ecological
problems.
We, our children, and our global neighbors face a growing
crisis in the diminishing health of the creation in
which we are embedded, and through which, by God's grace,
we are all sustained. I proudly claim my identity as
a Christian environmentalist. I take action to model
Christ by serving the earth and poor. And I call on
my brothers and sisters in Christ to boldly declare
the Lordship of Christ over all creation and demand
that our leaders take action to protect that, which
sustains all life. Commentary

is nature ever the ally of Religion: lends her all her
pomp and riches to the religious sentiment".
Ralph Waldo Emerson
